5 Things

Well, I see that Bill has tagged me with the 5 Things thing - hmm, since on the main blog I do, I keep everything personal hush-hush, but only share on this blog, this shouldn't be too hard.  Let's start with "exciting stuff", since most of my life is so ordinary, it will put people to sleep.  Hey, everyone has a story or two that makes them SEEM exciting...

FIVE THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME

1.  My grandmother was the first female accredited pilot in Peru.
2.  There's a picture out there, somewhere, of me at the foot of the Ganges, in a cheerleader jumping pose, in the mouth of the Ganges River - closely mirroring this route., and I'm naked as a jaybird.
3. Used to perform plays as a child, played at the Alley Theater.
4. Did a stint one summer as a Catamaran's first mate, on trips from St. Croix to Buck Island. 
5. Back when I was a young kid, I entered the local 7-11 in Houston, TX, right after school, plunked a quarter in the Stargate video game.  I emerged later that evening, at 3 AM, having played for 11 hours straight on the one quarter.  Yes, I was a Stargate Wizard, in that incredibly manic game.  Oh, and I paid dearly when I got home, since I never let my mom know where I was...
