I had the privilege of this guy and his wife, come to San Francisco, before a full TWO MONTH RETREAT up at Spirit Rock.
They hadn't been to the city before, so it was great to have them here, host them, and show them some of this beautiful city where I live.
On Saturday, I dropped them off at beautiful Spirit Rock.
May they find peace, enlightment, as all beings should find peace and enlightment.

A new computer!

I've been skimming along, at home, with a 7 year old Dell Windows 2000 box, for the last 6 years.
I finally took the plunge, and bought this puppy. Now the next thing, is to load windows, for some of the testing purposes I need.
But, I have to say - what a beautiful machine! I am somewhat familiar with the apple machine, since Amy has an older ibook - but this one is very, very nice.
I've already been loading some great open source stuff on it - Adium, Quicksilver, etc (maybe somebody can point out how I can load quicksilver...)
Now i need to get some development stuff on there, and learn my way around the command line.
